Withdrawals

The balance in your trading account is yours. Withdrawing moves it back out to an address you control.

The withdrawal PIN

Withdrawals are protected by a PIN that is separate from how you sign in. The first time you withdraw, you create one: four to six digits.

After that:

• The PIN is required to approve a withdrawal.
• It locks itself after a stretch of inactivity, so an unattended session cannot be used to move money.
• Reopening it works for a limited window. Past that, you sign in again.

This is deliberately more friction than the rest of the app. Everything else is one click. Moving money out is not.

Making a withdrawal

1. Open Withdraw and enter the amount.
2. Give the destination address.
3. Approve with your PIN.

Withdrawals cost a flat $1 venue fee, taken from the amount.

Margin that is currently supporting an open position is not available to withdraw. Close positions first if you want the whole balance out.

Why Rubick cannot withdraw for you

Trading runs through an agent key that can only trade. It cannot withdraw and it cannot change where money goes. Withdrawals are signed by your master key alone, to your own wallet alone. Rubick cannot move your funds, and neither can a compromised agent key. More in Risk and custody.

The failsafe: exiting without Rubick

Rubick is noncustodial, and that is not a slogan. Your funds and your positions live in your own wallet on Hyperliquid. Rubick is the interface that reads signals and places orders for you. It is not a gate between you and your money.

So if Rubick is ever unavailable to you, for any reason at all, you are not stuck:

• Go to Hyperliquid directly with the wallet that holds your account.
• Your positions are there, exactly as Rubick left them.
• Close them, adjust them or withdraw, on your own, with no involvement from us.

Nothing about this requires our permission, our uptime or our cooperation. It is the point of being noncustodial: the worst case is that you lose the convenience, never the access.

Day to day you will want to trade through Rubick, because the signals, the strategies and the provenance only exist here. But the exit door is yours, it is always open, and it does not have our lock on it.
